Default Realistic hair swords or daggers?

I remember about ten years ago, there was an online shop selling realistic hair swords and daggers. I think they may have been originally intended as letter openers but the artist realized they would work as a hairtoy. I specifically remember being able to choose antler handles and that they had a pretty wide variety of styles to choose from. Does anyone else know the shop/artist I’m talking about or if they are still around? I’ve been racking my brain and google or Etsy searches don’t turn anything up. I do believe they were forged metal, made like an actual sword only not sharp because they looked incredibly realistic and detailed, even down to the shape of the “blade”. Thank you in advance!

You might see a maker's name that rings a bell, here ----> Aggressive Impulses/Hairtoy Weaponry

Likewise! I'm very intrigued as well. I could think of a few makers that make hair weaponry, but nothing quite as epic as you're describing.

I did a search on Etsy. Best I found was AKCwoodworker. He makes them for his sister and turned it into a business.

I think the one your looking for went out of business. But do a search on Etsy for sword letter opener. There are many metal makers.

I’m sifting through that older thread, hoping to find a name. I did an Etsy search, and what I found was The Pocket Forge. It’s not the same person, since they are marketed as letter openers and the ones I remember were specifically sold for hair.

I’ve done some google searching, and unfortunately I think it’s very likely they did go out of business.

Neat I googled some photos and the concept is so cool! I hope you find a similar shop, if indeed the previous one is no longer in business. I'd love to get one as well.

This sounds mighty nice. I certainly would have known about this if this was a thing around 2012 to present. Before that I was not into hair or hair toys.

    Was it older than that?

edited: duh you said ten years ago in your OP,
    so yeah.
