Wrapping the braid twice is a great modification. I did that one a few years ago, and I remember too much length being an issue.

Yes, too much length, and not enough thickness.

K is for Knots:

3 accent, single-strand knots on one side, and 2 on the other. Placement is random. Slippy hair = sliding knots, so they go where they please!

my workhorse bun. (Usually with a ponytail base for stability.)

O was a challenge. Coiled buns fight like a badger! I can't make them behave. (I try them periodically, thinking a few more inches of length will help with the slip. It hasn't yet! )
