How many hours do you bun?

I say 4-6 hours. Usually I work a 5 hour shift and I try to keep my hair up at work. Sometimes I get bored or tired of my hair in a certain style so I’ll redo the bun, take it down for a awhile, or put in a different style. People say to me a lot “wait wasn’t your hair braided a second ago??” or something along those lines because I change it multiple times a day. But having my hair up all day doesn’t bother my scalp.

An update! I can already bun for a few hours longer if I make them a little more loose (so not a nautilus lol) without any aches. So I'm pretty sure that length plays quite the part in bun comfort!

My hair can be in a bun for days in without a complain. I just redo it at night to have a higher bun to be able to sleep on it.

Usually 4-6 hours because I nap mid day and need to take down and redo. Buns done on top of head some times will last 10 hours or more.

All day, but often I have to redo at least once bc of slippery hair.

At tailbone, I could leave it for several days at least, not that it looked too great at that point.

I could probably do the same now as far as scalp comfort is concerned. But after laying on it, it starts to shift and unravel.

5 months after I posted this, and I can do a disc bun all day even if I'm having a headachy (not migraine-y) day. The nautilus (or really Not-ilus, as it looks like a nautilus only due to my length, but it's made more like a LWB!) is good all day except headachy days. I'm sure 5 months from now both will be great, and I'll have another new bun added to the mix
