Sulfates and dimethicone makes me itch, I generally avoid the other silicones because sulfate free stuff doesn't always remove them.

My hair is super curly and doesn't behave well without silicone.

I vote neither sulphate nor silicones. My hair gets oily fast whenever i use sulphate or silicones which causes an increase in hairfall. Plus, i don't like the feeling of silicone residues on my hair after conditioning.

I use a sulfate shampoo. I've never used any silicones.

I tried without sulfate in my shampoo and my hair was a nightmare. So I'm definitely sticking with my sulfate.

I went sulfate free first trying to find balance for my scalp which was itchy and oily with dandruff. Then of course I got build up because I was still using a coney leave in. Once I clarified and quit using the leave in, I had no more scalp issues so I'm keeping my current routine for as long as it works.

I use both "daily" because my scalp and hair seems to be ok with them, but the same thing happen with sulfate free and cone free products.

I use sulfates all the time but I don't currently use silicones. I like silicones when my hair is longer though

I wanted to give up sulfates and silicones for good but I think that my hair can't do without them for too long. Especially now, in winter, I feel like I need silicones more than ever.
