Oh I meant that it was all wood and not like painted or something like that, thanks for the clarification on the woods. I usually do not pay much attention to that. Yes it is quite striking.
^ not wishing to be contrary but it looks like it's made from two woods, nut and ash? (I seem to recall when he started making them the listings said they were laminated together, and the description on this one sounds to me like it's nut *and* ash, not a specific type of ash.) Beautiful either way; looking at the enlarged listing pics of your one in particular the graining is really quite something
Edit: and the chatoyance of the nut wood in your own pics -
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness

Ah if it's the more high quality ones then I'm not surprised.. I got some of the budget ones like MusicalSpoons, didn't have to sand them down though thankfully
Should have been clearer..
Yeah this one was expensive but worth it.
I just ordered a 2 pronged hair fork in walnut, a 3 pronged hair fork in elderberry and a 4 pronged hair fork in elm. They are good prices for a novice like me, this way I get to try a lot without breaking the bank
Haha thanks desi
I got them about a week ago and I’ve been playing around with them. Here are some photos

It’s a shame the elm one is very close to my own colour. I had hoped it would be lighter but it is okay, I still like it a lot! They are sturdy and they have already been dropped a couple of times... (my own fault, shouldn’t have put them so close to the edge of the table)

The 4 prong is my fave on you! What bun are you wearing for the elderberry btw?
Super fine and delicate
