I just do s&d right now as most my splits are further up the length.
For whatever reason my hair keeps layering itself.
I was doing micro trims for awhile last year working on my hemline but I have given up.
There’s no point in trimming if the hairs you’re trying to get are getting missed.
So for now I rely on s&d and intend to get more serious about it.

I tried it once a few years back when I was growing out layers, but since I am one length... I just love the feel and look of a trimmed U hemline on me![]()
Myself. I don’t think trimming is necessary or beneficial to the health and overall look for my hair. I don’t think my ends like being trimmed, either. I’m going to do a trial run to see how my hair behaves with no trimming at all.
Yeah I haven't given up cutting forever, but I don't have any haircuts planned in the foreseeable future.
It's been two years and four months with nothing but S&D.
My hair doesn't seem to mind.
Hair is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans.

I would like to stop cutting + trimming, but I used to bleach my hair (for a decent base for violet Elumen) - this means I still have some damage in my endsI S&D and when that´s not enough, I do trim. When the damaged parts have grown out, I will have a break from cutting anything.
I used to have very short hair and found it grew much quicker when I was trimming the ends very regularly. So I still often get trims but have been wondering if it has as much of an effect on longer hair
Haven't trimmed my hair in 7 months. I will never grow it forever. I can conceal '' split ends'' with product if need be.
I only cut my fringe regularly.
I haven’t cut my hair since Jan. 2018. So that’s about 18 months and that was a minor trim. I’m in the grow out stage from a pixie. I’m past SL now. Not really thinking of cutting any time soon. The no cutting challenges are real motivating. ☺️
I’m finally checking the ONE and only item off my bucket list! Longer hair than a pixie! Now I’m creeping to waist and can’t believe it!!! Growing til I retire...and probably after.... 🤗
