I was 22, I'm wondering at what age everyone else decided they were going to get down to business and grow their hair out long?

that is so inspiring! i often find myself saying that i can't or shouldn't learn one thing or try something because im "too old" (16) and i often find myself giving up easily because of this. i hope that isn't true for this hair journey im embarking on. you are inspiring and wonderful - your hair is so gorgeous! i cant wait to be a part of this awesome community with you.

The only point at which anyone is "too old" to learn or try something new is the point at which one is either literally incapable of it (Alzheimer's and the like, and even patients with various forms of dementia can benefit from learning and trying things) or the point at which one is no longer breathing.

I'm not too old at 41 to keep learning, and I hope I never reach a point at which I think I don't need to learn any more new things.

Me too but I think I was around 55. I'm 61 now and I'm still only just about at waist - think I've got a bit of a tendency to overdo the self-trim...

It hadn't been longer than my shoulders since I was 8. I decided to grow it on a whim. I didn't know what color it was or what the texture would be like because I kept it pixied for many years.

    henna keeps it
red, and red makes me happy.
Pixied for 15+ years and liked it.
    Growing for fun.
