How has your goal changed since joining the LHC?

At first, I just wanted to be able to pull my hair forward and cover my boobs. But after spending some time here (and looking at everyone's lovely profile pictures!) I caught...hair fever! Now I'm counting down the months to TBL.

How has your hair length goal changed over the years?

Haha, hair fever. I know it well.

When I joined about six weeks ago I had no real goal, it says 'waist' on my profile but that's just because I had to put something. Now I think I'd like to see what my terminal length is, out of pure curiosity. I see it as a personal challenge.

Doctor Arctic's diagnosis is, that you have just caught a dangerous disease, called LCHtitis. It is often accompanied by another disease called hair length dysmorphia.

In serious note, I first wanted BSL then waist then hip length, but then my goal length started to shrink. Now I am maybe shooting towards BSL maybe not. I have cut my hair inbetween and mostly hanged around at should-APL area.

I started wanting waist, but even before I found LHC I was wanting about BSL because I thought that was the longest I'd ever had it. Then I found LHC and all the pictures of WL hair, and I fell in love! And then I found out that I had actually been almost at waist, or even at waist at one point years and years ago! So now I'm wanting hip, because waist wasn't any issue when it came to manageability, and I had it down almost all the time.

But I'm also eyeballing classic

I'm sure I'll revisit this thread many times as my goal changes!

Haha! I'm right there with you! I was planning on cutting and donating my hair again this December. . . but I kind of would like to see how long it will grow. I'd love to at least reach classic-length before donating again.

I had hovered around classic length (+/- about 4 inches) for many years before I found LHC. After joining, my goal shifted to knee length. Unfortunately just as I reached knee length I developed health problems that caused major hair loss. Eventually I got too upset to continue at LHC so I stopped coming here. While away my hair got shorter and shorter and then I got a buzz cut. Recently I started to miss doing fancy braids so I decided to check to see if my LHC account still existed, and there it was, as I had left it. I'm kind of hoping for classic length again, but I don't have a goal marked because I don't know if my hair will still grow like that.

My goal changes constantly. I wanted hip length when I joined back in 2011, but once I got there I got frustrated one day and cut it all off. It still felt short even at hip length. I'm planning to grow to hip and then maintain until my layers catch up. Then I plan to keep growing until I feel it is too much to manage, my goal is fingertip length, but I'm not sure yet if that is the end of it.

Fingertip length sounds like a lot of fun

... hmm, maybe that'll be my new goal! (jk). Though I have been taking a look at classic lately. I think I'll have to see how tough dealing with my hair is after I reach my goal though.

I started wanting tailbone but at some point this spring it morphed into fingertip length as a "wow" idea. Terminal is cool but I don't know if it's realistic for me yet. But I try to remain chill about hair goals too, because I just don't know what my hair has in store. Just taking care and enjoying it every step of the way

My original goal before joining was waist as i had been there in the past..but after seeing so many gorgeous hair photos here i wanted longer!

classic was my new goal then i got there last year now i am dreaming of knee length..who knows i may go longer once i reach it...like someone commented its LHCitis and the only cure is growing to lengths you would never have thought of before joining!
