You should it's the best one imo it's strong too and it stays on the hair for days. I also have their body spray, air freshners, oils and bakhoors and they smell beautiful!

I've become really fascinated with the way they layer and wear fragrances in the Middle East, so I've been wanting to invest in different forms of fragrances, including bakhoors.

You should, even with bakhoor you can scent your clothes hair and it mixes with the oils on the skin to make it smell more of a unique mix to you. You can start with nabeel and alrahab their pretty starter friendly n cheap and move on to more expensive fall to the ground smelling ones. http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/A...Oud-20164.html Heres a really good one.

Cool suggestions guys! I also forgot to mention one I have from Blissful Scents Aromatherapy on Etsy from her conditioning hair perfume line. I got the sandalwood, rose, and jasmine scent which smells nice...but I think the Jasmine is too strong.

I mixed some ylang ylang and bergamot essential oils into aloe vera (leaves blended with water, then strained) yesterday and I can still faintly smell it, which I'm seriously shocked by. I find that the scent from EOs normally doesn't last that long, but maybe that's because I've traditionally used them in water (which evaporates)? I also wore my hair down for a good part of the day yesterday--and outside, too!--so, yeah, shocked.

Since I am a "lavender" girl, I almost always add the EO to my Winter leave-in oil of choice, EVOO. It also goes into my mister bottle. When I am in need of a change, I find that rosemary EO does the trick. Both EO's are very refreshing and don't interfere with the fragrances I use on myself...........which is usually lavender.

I just use regular perfume in my hair. You can buy small samples of any perfume for a reasonable price. Not so with perfumes specifically formulated for hair; those options are more limited.

That said, I love seeing perfume houses rolling out a hair perfume line and popularizing the idea of hair as a prime vessel for aroma! Considering that I use regular perfume, I personally don't have a reason to buy a separate product just for hair, but hair perfumes are less expensive so if you only wanted to scent your hair they're there!

The caps on my perfume samples (I have a lot as a hobby) usually have some kind of dabber stick that I just drag through my hair once I oil it with monoï. Monoï oil is coconut oil in which gardenia flowers have been steeped. Smells fresh and natural, really extraordinary product. My favorite perfumes to layer with the monoï are Jalaine Patchouli (vanilla, amber, patchouli) or Serge Lutens Chergui (spicy honey tobacco and incense).

I am otherwise mostly water-only, with a light shampoo every other week.

Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab makes scented hair gloss. It tends to be quite strong and linger many days. I typically only use one squirt. There is a pretty large selection of blends. Warning: some of their labels are a bit smutty.

My daughter and I just made some water based perfume out of some miscellaneous flowers (the neighbor gave us some and I have no idea what they even are). We soaked the flowers for 24 hours and then filtered the water and boiled it down a bit. I’m wearing the perfume in my hair as I type and it smells better than any of the commercial perfumes I’ve ever worn. It’s very subtle and complex and not overpowering, and just beautiful.
