Me! I use shampoo every 5 or 6 days and do a water rinse in between. My hair stays pretty happy this way! I've taken to oiling it after the water rinse and leaving it oiled in a braid until wash day.

I wash every day to every other day. I love it. I have tried stretching washes and stuck with it for many months but it never worked out for me. I'm just one of those people. Thanks for starting this thread!
Longhair in the making. I've got a bit of a ways to go but it's only a matter of time. 2nd try.
I wash in Thursdays and Sundays.

Okay I guess you're right lapushka, I belong here...
Full wash on Saturdays, scalp-only washes & bang-only washes in between as needed here. I'm an oil slick, I can't leave my scalp to it's own devices—if I do, then my scalp starts getting zits, and that's not very nice.
There was one time where I stretched against my will for three weeks when Sandy hit here and we were without power/hot water. I had to wash my hair 4+ times to get all the sebum out, it was NASTY!

I usually wash twice a week.
JESUS, MY LORD AND SAVIOUR
Not that long ago, I went from 2/3 washes a week to a wash every 2 weeks (medical reasons). It was a *big* adjustment and my scalp went all sorts of bonkers. I was certainly not used to that all of a sudden. But after my medications were on point, I could resume my normal schedule and suddenly found out I could weekly wash. Bonus. After all that... OMG! What an ordeal that was. But I've been in both spots, I guess.![]()
