so as the tittle suggests I wanted to see what everyone's average monthly growth rate is as I'm being really hard on my hair as I grow out my severely damaged hair and grow out my natural colour as I'm only getting about 1cm per month I feel like this is really slow but I'm hoping il be pleasantly surprised when everyone shares their monthly growth. I never knew my growth rate until I started this process and it's driving me nuts as I want it to grow faster so I can have all normal healthy hair whereas before when iv been growing it, it was an ok length I just wanted it long for my own preference and got on with my life and let it do what it did but with this process that's much harder because it's like your starting from scratch!

I voted 1/2 inch but at the moment, its less. Not sure if its vitamin deficiency or what, last winter I didn't slow down at all. Starting back up on vitamins, hoping that will help some since I don't have the best diet.
Edit: came across this threat and noticed that I made an error. So I must correct it or it will bug me forever.
Sorry
Ive been a bit lazy with the health food, water intake, and often forget my multi vitamins, I take medications and so on. My growth has now slowed to a flat 1cm.

1 cm or 1/2 inch is exactly average growth. Some people get less, and some people get more, but you're not a slow grower by any stretch.

My average growth is about 1 cm, same as you and I also feel that it's seems to grow so slow compare to many other, but I think it's mostly in my head as it seems fairly common among long hairs to have hair with that growth rate.
So hang in there, getting 1 cm per month is not something that will stop you from growing your hair long.
My hair is close to classic now, so if I can grow my hair to that length so can you I'm sure.
Average? Just over 1" per month, but it does fluctuate a lot.

I'm about 1.5 cm a month, so just over half an inch.
My average would be a half an inch a month, often a little more, and on rare occasions, less. I have had a couple of randomly spaced months, sometimes, with no growth at all.
