I’ve been a little ruff when detangling. I need to work on going back to being more gentle.
Brushing it from scalp to ends in one stroke instead of starting at the ends and working my way up

Hello
Still top-down detangling. I can't change
.
Just one.......?
I sleep with it loose,
I can be really rough when I brush it...
and worst of all, I bleach it!! T_T
I'm basically just hoping oil and olaplex can fix all my problems hahaha...
Just a sleepy girl growing out her hair

Super hot showers... I get cold and I can't resist. My poor scalp wishes I would have more willpower.
Sleep with it loose if I'm too lazy to braid, leave in the braids for days if I do braid. Hot showers, detangle a bit rough once I lose patience. Now motorcycle season is here so tangles are going to be a constant, however I vow to be gentle!
Really hot showers and ripping out fairy knots are the first two that come to mind. My dermatologist recently told me that hot water is the cause of the redness on my face because the water is so hot it's actually cooking my active skin-care products on it (yikes!) He could tell by looking with his magnifying glasses on and told me to turn it down to lukewarm to warm to rinse my face. I know it can't be good for my hair either so I'm glad he brought it to my attention.

Always using hot water to wash, I can't stand cold water lol. If I don't have scissors and find an especially bad split end i'll also just tear it off instead of proper cutting. I don't trim my hair at all which most people consider bad. I don't try to brush the ends of my hair before the top. but I use a boar bristle brush and don't hear any crunching while brushing and the brush never gets stuck at a knot or anything, so I'm not too sure if the brushing is actually breaking my hair
It's a lot

Wearing it loose in the sun. Apparently it's not ideal to have a lot of sun exposure, but my hair definitely has that. Probably why the ends are naturally bleached multiple shades lighter than the top.
I brush with wet hair (not good for my hair type) and have been more frequently wearing my hair loose. As my hair is getting fuller, my scalp is getting more sensitive to the weight of a bun so I've had to rotate between wearing buns, braids and having it down.
