My torso/spine is so short that TBL IS BCL on me ; counting the top of the TB.

I suspect it depends on the person. For some folks, I guess TB and BCL aren't particularly different?
On me, well, I've got a lot of butt. BCL and TB are several inches apart and the exact distance would require considerable ... palpitation. I just figure it at mid-bum and call it good.
(I remember the term VSL = vertical smile length floating around here at one point. You know, in case BCL wasn't silly enough.)

I think BCL is when you stand up straight and your hair just starts to go into your.. well butt crack. TBL is at the bottom of your spine. As someone else put it so eloquently, you just need to dig in there. Lol. I think TBL is in between BCL and Classic. For some people those levels might be closer together then for others. For me I would say TBL is about 2-3 inches lower then BCL.
