As the title says, how long did it take for you to find your holy grail routine? How many products/routines did you go through before landing on what works best for your budget, your hair, and your lifestyle?

It took me 2 years to find the perfesct shampoo. Pura D'Or. Holy grail. I love it. Makes my hair look wonderful without any other product (see video in signature) ans it stopped shedding. Expensive but worth it.

I'm here now for a little over 10 years, so I guess it was during the first 5 that I discovered the routine that I'm still using now (WCC-ROO-LOC -> links in my signature). I can't quite recall how long it took me, though... long time ago.

A few months after my LHC initiation, thanks to Lapushka's recommendations!

I experimented with some different products and methods. It also took me some time to ween of daily shampooing. I find that what works at certain lengths, for me, do not work at other lengths. And later I developed this dandruff issue (a few years ago) that I've been unable to get rid of, despite different products and methods.

Now I'm pregnant so we'll see how my hair and scalp change after pregnancy. Haha. I may have to go through the trial and error again.

Thanks! I guess life is change so we just adapt. Congrats on your second. I plan to have another eventually as well. We'll see how I handle the postpartum shed and potential texture changes...
