Will you keep your hair long after you reach your goal length?

I was thinking about this myself, although I am aiming for TBL at the moment and am looking forward to seeing how it looks, there are some shorter than APL haircuts I really like and want to try, also I find with shorter hair I can more easily mimic volume. So I might keep long hair for a couple of years or so, then do a charity chop and be a shortie, maybe for a little while, maybe longer, who knows! What about you guys?

I will be hitting my goal of hip in just a matter of weeks and have no thoughts of chopping any time soon

In fact I just told hubby this week, that if I ever end up in the hospital...DO NOT LET THEM CUT MY HAIR

as if that would be on their minds .....but I felt better saying it

I plan to take my long silver to the grave

I worked too hard to grow this out ( the longest I have ever been in my 64 years), and probably wouldn't have enough time to do it a again LOL

I grow my hair to have long hair, chopping it off when it gets long would be to ruin it all for me x) I do sometimes miss having above shoulder length hair, but I know that I get sick of that length very fast, so I'll just keep my face framing layers that length and keep the rest of my hair long.

I don't plan on cutting my hair, but I do wonder if I'll like it long. I'm a couple of inches shy of APL now and that's the longest I've ever been. I love the look of waist length and longer on others, but I don't know if I'll like it on me, and with my hair. I'm kind of glad it grows slowly so I'll get used to it bit by bit.

I should hit my goal sometime around summertime. As long as my hair remains healthy then I will keep it at BSL indefinitely. My main thing is for my hair to be healthy, the length is secondary to me.

I've committed myself to no chopping for 10 years back in 2013, so no, I won't cut my hair. It's finally starting to feel long and I'm loving it.

I'll keep it for a while. My goal is terminal and I don't know where that is. I don't know if terminal will be knee or ankle. It depends on my health and patience.

I have never had long hair before so this is all uncharted territory

I am now just above APL and my original goal length was BSL but now I am thinking waist. ... LHC will do that to you. I have no idea how my hair will behave and look at longer lengths, or how I will feel about it, but I do not think I will ever go much shorter than it is now.

Technically, I'm beyond my original goal of knee length. I am not planning on cutting, ever. For one thing, I have too much invested in hairtoys. :/

I love reading other peoples responses...
For my part, I've had short hair long enough in my life. I'll have long from here on out. I'm going for FTL, but already have an itch to aim for terminal...
