Silica for hair?

Can anyone tell me about their experience and whether taking silica orally helped them with hair growth/hair loss?

I take DE (silica), but you know, it's impossible to say if it helps or not. But I have always had a feeling that it would be helpful, and it's been on my supplement regime since teenage - not all the time, but regularly. I buy DE in pill form, so not fussing with powders.

If it does help, it most certainly has not given me super growth, super re-growth, super anything, but it's been more subtle effect. But it's the only supplement I buy purely for hair/skin/nails, all the others are for health.
