    It seemed to have at least somewhat fermented by Saturday night so it worked out. I've had to wait up to 5 days for any fermentation in winter so I lucked out - or maybe the oat bran I added made a difference.

    Glad to hear it worked out. I suppose it's still pretty cold in Alberta. I usually do three days, but now it's warm It takes only two days. Once I forgot about it for four days and it went stinky. I wondered if we can add a bit of yogurt to it for a quick starter. They smell so similar.
