Default I want to share my Secret to you

Hi lhc, I've been battling terrible knotty tangles in the last couple of months , I've encountered a break through I just need to share with you amazing ppl, after I conditioner my hair I squeeze out excess water, then apply 2 drops of Argan oil , and just with wide tooth comb it just glides through , the secret is the oil provides intense moisture stopping my hair from snapping and breaking off, anyone use this method ?

Take a look in my signature at the rinse-out oil method. It is basically that, except you do it in between shampoo & conditioner.

Yep, I like to put a couple drops of oil in my hair after I step out of the shower, after letting it sit in a towel for a few minutes but before detangling. It makes a world of difference in lubricating the combing process.

Sesame oil (the light stuff, not the roasted flavoring type, though that does work even if it smells strongly) is my personal favorite. Mineral oil just makes my hair feel sticky; I don't experience the reported slip from it at all.

Yep, with a few drops of coconut oil+Shea nut oil, followed by a mist of watered down conditioner spray. I comb it through and let it dry.

Argan Oil is great, as is sweet almond oil. Used to give great shine. I don't use oils anymore as my hair doesn't need them but those two were my favourites.

I second the sweet almond oil. I use it on mine and my son's hair.

I do this, too: as an oil rinse and as a LOC to "seal in" moisture.

I like mineral oil, grapeseed oil and coney serums the most for this purpose. But pretty much any lightweight oil that doesn't smell strongly, doesn't stain and doesn't solidify in cool temperatures can do the trick for me.

After squeezing the water out i apply a small amount of leave in conditioner and let that sit for a couple minutes. Then i detangle if there is anything to even detangle then i apply my natural oil and finish with a silicone based serum or spray.
I don't think i would every attempt to comb my hair with absolutely no product in it, but i don't find natural oils particularly slippery compared to other products.
