Today I'm wearing a flexi nautilus bun wrapped in a dusty lavender-colored scarf with little lace flower accents. I'm really starting to love the practical aspects of hair scarves and how protective they are, but they're also giving me a lot of confidence. I feel like I can be pretty even without any of my hair showing.
Oh sing me a song of the sea,
Selkie, siren, sisters thee.
Nautilus bun and a nice blue fork
A nice bun makes the day.
I did them myself, two on each side, one in the middle (I don't like how I look with a middle part, and it showcases my widow's peak, which I do like. ), and then 5 regular braids in the back. I'm not very good at going all the way from front to back, so I kinda fake the look by going just behind my ear and stopping there . I have not posted a pic here yet, but here it is:
Didn't take too long, maybe an hour or so.
Today I pinned my dutch braids up into a braided updo, with a flower.
I really admire you, to me even one dutch braid is mission impossible.
Today I had half up pigtails combined with other hair to a low ponytail. That gives some nice framing to my face. But oh what a pain this hairdo is to undo... I just cut other hair tie off, because with this hairdo my hair makes totally crazy knots with hair ties.
And thanks for the pic ETJ CURLS, that's very neat and impressive hairstyle!
I like this your hair style very much. I think it is kinda comfy to wear, not so much hair pulling like full cornrows from the fronthead to the nape. These are a rougher version of the Fulani Braids, who use much more braids, but with the same method. Dutch cornrows at the fronthead and behind all free braids.
