Rocking a Celtic Knot bun today. I'm excited that I have enough hair to do most buns now!

I like how you described your fork as cheery *smilies* I tried SarahLabyrinth's Log Roll this morning, but I couldn't get it to stay this way either. It felt solid at first but and over later it'd just slide over on the side of my head. I'm going to have to practice this one more. I tried with a clip - not secure, a barrette - wouldn't close and a flexi - each time I tried I needed a different size so I just gave up for today. I'll try again tomorrow *smilies* Thanks again for posting about it!

Thank you for mentioning the hypnobun! I tried it and it's really rock solid. It did take me a few tries, though. The last part is a bit difficult to do with my fingers but I figured it out.

Right now I'm in a Hypno Bun with a two prong metal fork! It was really easy to put a hair toy through and it holds well. I don't know why I'm so dismal at horizontal buns...I still am working on my French Twists and Log Rolls...I'm not sure what to do for tomorrow. Hmm...

Hi Aithne, this is the video for Milady´s bun, (if you like videos?): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuNeqsl8R_U As I said, it reminds me of some other wrapped bun, but it is a new bun on its own, and yes, I like it very much. Sorry to hear you did not have luck with log roll, but don´t worry, not all buns are destined to work on everyone. Maybe you will have luck in the future. (Did you try a medium/large claw clip?)

Today I´m wearing another (new for me) bun by our esteemed LHC members - the spock bun (thank you, bparnell!). Like Milady´s bun, I love this one too - getting a bun on the first attempt and having it to stay all day is a big yes for me. It will be another one of my staples.

Thank you Nefcerka for posting that link, it looks helpful to me. I think I should give it a try too. We will see about that tomorrow.

Today I am wearing a Celtic knot bun, well not the first time but also this time I had to rebuilt it several times.
Now the result is not 100% correct but I am ok with it.

2023.6.9 High Lazy Wrap Bun turns 180 degree counterclockwise, I’m surprised how different it looks from yesterday’s 90 degree CCW version. Now I have new ideas about creating more bun variations, just try to turn them CW or CCW 90 or 180 degrees.

Fiorentina, you are welcome, do try Milady´s bun, it is very easy and comfortable. I think I had to re-do celtic knot several times as well, don´t worry about it.
Tuanyiji, that vertical LWB looks very neat, another great idea from you, to try.

I´m wearing a center held braided bun today, because totally unexpectedly my new hair clips arrived and I had to try them all... and this bun is perfect for them. So I´ve had about 6 different things stuck in the middle, and yes, I took pictures and I will post them in due time.
