A crown braid taped with satin ribbon.

The same crown braid as yesterday, a thing I haven’t done in a long time (sleep in a style that is.) It just seemed silly to destroy a style that looked as fresh as it did when I went to bed last night. I wore a silk cap but it doesn’t look as fresh today so it’s a good thing my kids don’t care. I have it under a silly bandanna anyway, but a little benign neglect and no opportunity for mechanical damage never hurt a head of hair I guess.

That's neat to know it lasts all day! I've been curious about taping hair, but I don't have a needle with an eye that's big enough for a ribbon yet. I hope your day stays silly and fun (because you used the word silly a lot I can't remember when I last heard the word silly...Before Times, maybe? I think need more fun in my life...?)

Half ponytail ...because the braided Chinese Bun with a barrette started to pull. I think it was the barrette's fault...oh well, that's the only reason I got a Hair Pool picture today so it's all good
