This is exactly what I thought people meant by double wrapped nautilus. It works way better for me this way too. The upside down version is almost identical to how I double wrap the nessa bun too. I'll remember to call them the Tautsilus from now on....

With almost every bun I do that too, alternate around base and hand a couple times. Paired with heavy twisting, that method often allows me to go several hours before having to rebun. I think I started doing that around classic or so.

Heavily twisted, double-wrapped chameleon bun held with 2 ketylos. This is a great style for very long hair, at least for mine.
