I've just cut a large chunk off the length and added some layers so I am currently sporting an English braid as my Helix bun exploded with the layers. Doh!

Very loose shapeless bun with 2 sticks. I curled it with flexirods last night and it looked great when they came out! Then I had to put it up for work. I tried to make it as loose as possible so as not to squelch the curls. We'll see what it looks like tonight. Also still have 4 tiny accent braids in; I went ahead and curled up two of them just to see if I could. the other two had beads on the ends, so curling was pointless due to the weight.

I wore a pha bun with the tail left out. (It looked a little like a peacock twist, or shorter ponytail.)

    henna keeps it
red, and red makes me happy.
Pixied for 15+ years and liked it.
    Growing for fun.

I did a '40s roller set and wore it with a scarf tied atop my head. Got looks from men in their 50s. Not sure what that was about since they're too young to remember WWII era women.
