Can I do a Gibraltar bun with mbl hair?

I have been wearing mine down a lot lately, so I want to start wearing it up again daily for protection. Today I have it on a treble clef bun with a home made stick, it was the only bun I could make work so I need to find some more styles to try now my hair is getting longer

Dunno. It's basically a cinnamon bun where you're using the inner coil as a "noose" to hold the bun in place. I'd look at some Youtube videos on it, and try a few experiments. If your hair is in a really blunt cut (which I prefer), it's harder to do. Thicker hair also tends to make buns harder.

My thickness is about 3"/7.5cm and my hair is around 32"/80cm long. If your hair is thinner and has fairly fairy tale sorts of ends, it's probably doable quite a bit shorter.
