I'm really gonna have to look up where to get some aloe Vera from. However I do have. Question, Is it okay to use it In raw form straight from the plant? Or does it have to be diluted with water?

It is ok to use directly. The best way to do it is cutting te leaf in the lenght that it is part in two equal sections & than scrap the gel from the inside of the leaf.

I see that Beautyklove (youtube) use a lot of aloe veragel in her selfmade hairreceips.

    Hi,

Yes. It is true that aloe vera is very good for the hair. Instead of using aole vera gel that is available in the market. It is better to use aloe vera gel that you can freshly extract from the plant. That is the best for the hair as it is natural and there won't be any side effects.

Does anyone think it would be problematic to mix aloe gel with castor oil to promote growth?

I think it would be a great combination. Aloe vera is included in many Ayurvedic hair oil recipes.

It shouldn't be a problem. The only issue I have with it is the bitter smell. Nothing an essential oil can't fix

It is one of the best hair growth home remedies using the Best Aloe Vera Hair Growth Oil. Take 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel and 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a bowl and mix well. Use this mixture to massage your scalp for 10 minutes. Leave it on for another 30 minutes and then wash your scalp with a mild shampoo.

I have recently started infusing oils with aloe, neem, amla and fenugreek. I massage the oil into my scalp once per week at least 30 min prior to showering. I started in hopes of helping my scalp (I have SD), but noticed after about 3 weeks that I have baby hairs growing from my hairline under my bangs. Never had it visible like this before. Is it the Aloe? Who knows…

Aloe is pretty kind to my scalp (provided I dilute it, otherwise my hair gets crunchy). I think on its own it's pretty moisturizing, so that is really good for the scalp.
