Which seems to be more like it, as far as I can tell. It holds very well and seems like a rounder version of an infinity bun.
This is one of the loveliest buns I have seen in your hair. Elegant.

I like this one! I'm going to wear it to work tomorrow.
Currently at waist... and still growing!

This has become my go-to bun. It’s easy, I can put it anywhere on my head, and when I take it down, it curls in all the right ways, and doesn’t bend in weird ways. This is how I wear it for yoga and baths on top of my head.

Glad to see someone else who likes this bun as much as I did. It was my go-to from waist through classic, always on the nape. It was the only style I've ever encountered that reliably never slid down and pulled uncomfortably. (Slick 1a hair is notoriously uncooperative.)

I tried variations of it for longer hair than classic but unfortunately never came up with anything usable.

I love a twisted spider mom, does that help/work for your length?

Mid-thigh hair doesn't allow nearly as many bun styles as shorter hair. Or anyway mine doesn't, even twisted and dampened.

Knee length and this is still my most used bun for sticks.
