Wink Hair wispies club (no slicked back edges, please)

Who has permanent wispies? You know, they are all around your updo, all around your hairline and they just won't disappear or lay flat. If you slick back your edges, then this is "news" to you.

Who wants to join the club?

We might get great tips on how to eventually tame them and slick them back.

Me...I've just learned to live with it. They're so fine that they just pop right back up, they don't have enough weight to stay flat and they fly around. It's especially bad when I get a lot of new growth.

Oh yeah, the tiny hairs all around. They won't fit into your updo, and they just fly high. I just leave them be. It's particularly bad when you want a neat updo. And I found that it can even differ wash week to wash week, the amount I get flying around. Odd.

Oh yeah, I'm in this group. I have a few bits at my temples that just don't grow well and I end up with my little horns, as I call them.

They can hold up my halo.

I just don't have tidy hair. It's wavy enough to have an attitude but not truly wavy or curly. I've come to accept it, but there are times when I wish it would look sleek and neat.

Me!! I have a lot of hairs that are several inches long, even in the middle of my forehead, that always come out of buns and never get longer.

    *raises hand*

I've always had wispies flying around. My hair is wavey so all my short baby hairs just stand on end and flap in the breeze. I don't really mind them, but they make it hard to look but together and nice. How do people get such sleek updos? Mine always look like my head got trapped in a wind tunnel lol

Mine have got long enough they look like the intentional bangs I never had the balls to cut in so I just go with that for the couple of days after a wash when I can't tie them back. As soon as I have a little oil going they stay back. /bragging

Sorry, really not helpful I know I'm sure it won't last long.

Grew from shoulder to thumb length in 7 years without trims. Now maintaining.
There once was a girl, who had a little curl, right in the middle of her forehead. When she was good she was very, very good. But when she was bad she was horrid.

Yup! All my life I've had them, from just above the temples and down the hairline to above my ears. That hair is also the only 3b/fine hair I have. If I dry it curly, they are cute, if I touch them at all after drying POOF!
