Default Hair-iversary pictures (warning: pic heavy!)

Because you know its the only reason you wanna look!

Technically, my anniversary isn't until the 13th, but that's okay! I'm excited this year because it will be THREE years on LHC. I'm not a very active poster on here, but I do spend a lot of time reading and looking. I didn't post for my first or second years here, so I'm excited to share three years progress with you all!

I technically started my hair journey a few years before I found LHC. I had just cut my hair to shoulder.

When I finally found LHC, my hair was hip length, still dyed, and I was using hot tools and washing daily.

LHC gave me the courage to give up the dye...something I NEVER thought I would do, and I gave up hot tools....something I thought I would NEVER EVER EVER do!

BC length, letting my natural texture free for the first time in my life

    Tailbone length!

Finally classic length! When I first joined LHC, classic was my goal. It was pretty solidly my goal...until I got there, of course! Classic didn't feel as long as I thought it would.

Soooo here we FINALLY are today!

    (sorry for the dirty mirror!)
I'm at fingertip when wet, so nearly there when dry, but not quite. That last pic has bun waves, and shows my natural hair color until about BSL. The color change to dyed hair isn't noticeable in that pic, but it sure is noticeable in certain lighting IRL. I will eventually get rid of it, as the difference in quality is just so apparent! I just don't want to sacrifice the length. Honestly, I worried that I would get sick of long hair long before I ever reached this point, but I'm not tired of it yet. It does have its inconveniences, and I very rarely can wear it loose anymore, but I'm a long hair lover through and through.

Well, thanks for looking/reading if you made it this far! I don't get the chance to give much attention to my hair sometimes, so it's fun to be celebrating my "hair-iversary!"
Thank you LHC from the bottom of my heart for teaching me how to really care for my hair!

I want my hair to be the first thing people notice,
the way they describe me, and the only thing they remember.

You have some incredible hair, lady! And that was all only in three years?
I mean...your hair already looked good in the pic from when you first joined LHC, but now it's just insanely pretty.

Back in black, and growing to the bitter end.

You joined LHC with beautiful healthy hair. And the progress of course is jaw dropping.

Oh wow, that's a lot of growth and your hair looks gorgeous.

Good to know you can get to fingertip while growing out dye, and your ends don't look any the worse for it.

Wow, your hair is lovely! Congrats on your long hair journey. I still have about 6 or so inches to go before I reach my goal length, but I am thinking that I will probably keep going past that too. I can appreciate how what you think you want is often different when you get there!
