I'm curious about it too. Did you notice the price though? Yikes that's expensive stuff.
Has anyone tried this yet? I am curious....

That's unnecessarily expensive. Read about my adventures, including sources, with Persian Seder/lotus/sedr in the archives.
More about lotus powder.

Thanks Flaxen! I thought I remembered you having some experience with it!
What does this smell like? Would it help cover the smell of henna? Would it be a good replacement for henna?
The sedr doesn't smell much like anything - maybe sort of leafy-greeny-grassy - but not nearly as strong as henna. The lotus powder plus at Everyday Mehndi smells wonderful, but it has other herbs and EOs in it.
No, I don't think it would substitute for henna. It doesn't color, for one thing, and it doesn't bind to the keratin the way henna does, either. It's more like a mild conditioning treatment.
I used it once (it's available in Estonia for extremely cheap price and marketed as "colourless henna") but it knotted my hair into a terrible mess so I haven't used it since.
i also used it once. it dried my hair out completely.
Thanks everyone! Hmm, I wonder what's in the Lotus Powder Plus that makes it smell so good... anyone know?
I tried it once. Once. It was very drying.
