Cardamom in conditioner?

I've been using ground cardamom in my hennamixes from time to time in the hope that it brightens the lengths a bit. Cardamom contains more peroxides than cinnamom, but I actually doubt it will make any serious difference used like that or in a condish. If you want to use the oil I suggest you make a patch test first and use it very carefully. Smells nice though :-) I use it in my tea and in cooking all the time.

I just ordered some oil online, so I'll make sure to patch test and be careful. I decided to try the oil instead of the spice because I feel the actual spice won't leave much smell or make a difference. If nothing works, then I will try to use the oil as a leave in I use cardamom in almost everything lol! Thanks

I apologize for reviving a dead thread, but I am also really enjoying the smell of cardamom in my hair after my most recent henna treatment! Has anyone had success with adding it to conditioner?
