How long have you gone without a trim?

I usually trim twice a year...sometimes 3 times if I didn't get enough cut off in the first place.

I answered 2-3 years. I went 2 or 2.5 years with no trims when growing from a short bob to BSL/MBL. This was from 2012 to 2014. There might have been a couple S&D attempts during that time, but even those lasted 5 minutes or less, with very little scissor action taking place. I found the neglect to be quite beneficial. I had been growing out bleach, so I enjoyed observing the drastic difference as the virgin color grew out. And although my ends were damaged, I kept them relatively healthy with lots of babying so that the damage did not travel upward. When I finally had it trimmed in a salon, even the hair stylist didn't try to talk me into chopping it all off, as too often happens in salons.

Haven't had a trim since April 2013. Since that's closer to 2 years rather than 1 year, that's the option I chose.

I plan on going back to regular trims once I reach my goal, but until then, trims were just slowing me down.

Hello there ! I'm a guy and I've been growing out my hair for 15 months now. last time I trimmed my hair to get the split ends off was 2 weeks ago. and sometimes I used to trim the sideburns and nape from behind cuz the short frizzy hair bothers me

Around two years. I never really liked visiting hair salon so it was easy to give up regular trims but I did eventually learn to cut my own hair.

I survive well without trimming my hair, I have gone 1-2 years without cutting/trimming several times.

I don't remember if I have actually ever trimmed my hair, when I have cut my hair in the past it has usually been to get a drastic change (meaning large amounts of hair cut off)...

Went a whole summer without trimming, and I will say this only-never again!!! I needed a good inch of split ends chopped off!

I usually only trim my hair once a year. I keep it up the rest of the time and try to stay on top of my split ends.
