Unconventional/Wild Long Haircut Inspiration

I'm growing out my hair, but am not the type to stick with the whole one-length kind of style (though it's gorgeous on those of you that love it!). Do any of you have inspiration photos or ideas to share for some more unusual or crazy hairstyles/cuts that still retain major length? ie... undercuts, super long a-line bobs, dreadlocks, whatever. My hair is virgin BSL right now after a major chop and a vow to kick the dye habit, but it's just too tame!

One word for dye ideas: PINTEREST.

Braided mohawks come to mind as something edgy and unusual while playing up length. Another style (which may require some serious dousing in hairspray) that comes to mind is a voluminous straight style but all the hair is pushed straight back, no parting.
Maybe multiple braids in different sizes for something unusual but less edgy.

Another alternative method may be to focus on makeup as a way to experiment.
