I made an SMT with Suave Everlasting Sunshine and added about 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of olive oil as well. My hair is slippery as it’s ever been and wrapped up in a bag for the next few hours. It smells heavenly!!

Side note my dog always tries to eat my deep treatments lol. She’s howling at me for lunch right now.

Weekly wash with diluted sulfate shampoo, following a capillary schedule, sealing all the moisture in with *gasp!* baby oil! No trimming 2021 (first half for now)

I did something a little different with my SMT yesterday and I really like the results! I made it like normal at first; knock off Conditioning Balm from Sally's and raw honey. Heated in the microwave then added fresh aloe from my plant instead of bottled for a change. I also added a pinch of Slippery Elm Bark powder and Marshmallow Root powder along with 1/2 tsp of Fenugreek oil trying for some slip and detangling power. I put it in the blender because the aloe was chunky since it was fresh and it was terrific! I didn't even need any detangling spray to get my wide tooth comb through it and it is soft and knot free even today, a day later. The shine is off the charts too, my dry ends look refreshed also.

To distract myself from shaving my head, I did a hot oil treatment using Castor, avocado and coconut with a dash of rosehip and 2 drops of lavender, clingwraped for 20 minutes then showered, I'm currently relaxing in bed with a papaya hairfood mask, will wash it out in 15 minutes

I’ve been loving the Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Masque lately - it leaves my hair super moisturized and silky-smooth, helping my waves stay frizz-free. Also, Garner Superfood masques worked well as a deep-conditioning treatment, but certainly less impactful than Shea Moisture, which is a shame since I have to order the SM products from oversees.
