Me and my husband kind of did one almost a decade ago. (I say kind of because we did inform family about a week or two prior, but still went out of state just us two)
and EVERYEONE was so pissed we were not doing a big party/ceremony. Like, to this day they are irritated if it comes up, lol.

Where are you doing yours? Local or a special trip?

And as for hair, I see you have already picked the sticks, have you picked the bun/style?
We rented a cabin in the woods for the weekend. The area is special to both of us for separate reasons, and my main two requirements were met (hot tub, and dog friendly). For the ceremony we're doing something quick in a state park with a company that specializes in this sort of thing.

I haven't picked a bun style yet, but I am going to start playing with ideas this month!
Hovering at hip this year! Hip hip hooray!

I bought a pack of mini hair ties for my braids. The regular and small sizes I have to wrap around a lot. These mini ones are faster. I might buy some other fun colors.

I saw a wall of little elastics in all different colors at Michael's the other day in the craft section if you have one near you! I was so excited!

Boar bristle brush. I've been looking at MP's, but I just can not talk myself into it. I found a much more affordable one on Amazon with 3000+ positive reviews for $25.

I've just purchased a 10 oz bottle of Isoplus Wrap Lotion at eBay and also at Amazon, and I also purchased 3 bottles of Garnier Fructis Anti-Humidity Sleek & Shine Hair Milk as Amazon.
