I wouldn't say I get bored with my hair, but when it's frustrating me for whatever reason, I put it up and deal with it later. It's up all the time anyway, so that isn't a huge break from my normal routine.
Put it up.
Leave them down.
Create new updo.
Cut them
Change color
Cheese them
I am sure that I am not alone in this situation. When sometimes your hair are boring or disturbing you or you hate them what do you do to them? Let me explain . Like right now I don't like them but I am sure this will pass and in a couple of days or less I will be ok with them. Sometimes this happen when I want to do something with them and I can't because of work or something. Or if I have to take care of them when I am not suppose to. So what do you all do to take this time mor painless and fun.

I try new updos or do old ones that I haven't for a while because they're complicated. Or generally wear it in styles I think are prettier on me (like side braids). Wearing it up in a LWB all the time is what made me bored enough with my hair to cut it, but this time around I'm vowing to learn oodles of new updos and not LET it get boring.

I'm never bored with my hair!! So many things you can do with it! The possibilities are endless!
If you're lacking inspiration, go on You Tube and check out Torrin Paige, or the other ladies offering long hair instruction! My God, I wish the Internet was flourishing back in my day, I would have been in seventh heaven, instead of scouring every possible source in my public library!~
If I feel that the change is needed, I just learn new updo and/or get a new hair toyUsually that helps a lot! Youtube is amazing source for learning new hairstyles

I'm in the "hide it in a bun or braid" camp, when my hair insists on being hateful. Some days it just doesn't look right no matter what I do, so I confine it and tell it to think about its sins, and that it can come back out when it's in a better mood.
If my hair grows long enough, will I turn into a mermaid?
Do a hair treatment or put it up. I don't like learning or making hairstyles so messy bun or braid it is.
I do not know this hair boredom. So I must choose cheese!

Mod hat off. Mod hat on. Don't make me wear the mod hat, it messes up my hair. *grin*
In this order: Put it up. If it was up already, take it down, brush it, admire it and/or put it in a new fancy updo. And: Play around with hairtoys.
(If it gets really bad: have DH hide the scissors).

I dont think Ive ever fallen out with my hair that badly TBH!
The only times when we disagree usually is about 10hrs into my 13hr nightshifts and it makes my head hurt. Whatever hair style I have tend to get messier and messier as I loosen it. But then its kinda worth it for the 'ahhhhhh!' moment when I get out of work, pull out my hair clips/bands/etc and give my head a good ol' shake!![]()
