Default Hair Highway (design project making objects from human hair and resin)

I thought you all might find this article interesting. (Apologies if it's been posted already, but I didn't see a thread.)

The items are art deco in style, and some of them are really neat.

Oh I love this article! I haven't seen it before and it kinda makes me want to make my own hair projects! I have some old hair extension s that I have no use for that I v old attempt this with. Their craftsmanship will be much better than my own though.

Wow! That's really cool. I see what the article means about it being a little creepy/weird for some people to have objects made out of something that used to be human, but I don't really see how that's any different from a wig made out of real human hair. I would totally buy something made out of hair!

Those are quite lovely. I'm really impressed by some of the color gradients.

The video under the article has some shots of liquid resin being poured over hair that was probably ironed and positioned the right way to show interesting "grain". I suspect they let that solidify and cut it into the shapes and sizes they need.
