The prices didn't look like sale prices to me, plus I didn't see anything I liked (and I'm on a no buy, but I need additional excuses sometimes)

placed my first and probably only order there during the sale. *I'm in time out for at least a couple years - well def from ETSY aka my kryptonite * I still can't fight what I see at actual stores I visit though.

Huh, I can't see the percentage off? It just says 'sale'. I'm also bad at math and cheap so by all means, don't take my opinion as something that's even remotely accurate

ETA: OH the flipping coupon code. Well if I bought something I'd have been in trouble lol. My cognitive skills are lacking today

Those are beauties, Milady_DeWinter! And they look fabulous in your gorgeous locks!

I ordered this pair of hairsticks and they just arrived in NYC from Russia. Hopefully the U.S. Post Office will deliver them into my grubby little hands early next week.

This is my first MapleBurl purchase. I had to have them because they look like the sky in Van Gogh's Starry Night, my favorite painting.

I must say that Igor is extremely nice and his customer service was excellent.

I received my sticks today. DH came in and asked, "Did you order something from Russia?"

Why, yes. Yes I did.

The sticks were extremely well packaged and are beautiful. Though I must say that are extremely thin and look more delicate than any hair sticks I own.

I have the migraine from hell today, so I haven't even tried them on, yet. I'll report back later.

It's official... I

I thought that the slight head curve would be a problem, but it's not.

They are extremely thin, but I don't think that my smallish buns are going to break them.

I love how the red of the Padauk wood is almost an exact match to my hennaed hair color. That's what you see from the sides. You only see a little sliver of "Starry Night" when you look at them straight on.

I think that I need one of Igor's burl forks.
