    Default Keratin is icky -.-

Hi guys! Check out this video I found detailing the whole process. Its super incentive for me anyway- to not do this ever.

Well the video is from 2010, the products have been improved since then and the model in the video didn't have nice hair to begin with. The video surely doesn't show how benefical of a product keratin can be to certain (not all, just some) hairtypes. My hair loves it and as im doing it completly myself i have full control over the use of heat.
My hairs sure is healthy and only a few inches from classic.

You do it yourself though, so you have the control. As far as I know you're not using that much heat. The five million thousand passes of the iron freak me out, at that temp too....

Yeah, the video wasn't a good example and neither the product, not the stylist appeared to be very professional and educated about hair.
It's often recommended to use keratin at 230C which is to hot for my personal preference, so i keep it betwenn 200-210C and only ever pass two times using as much of a high end flatiron as available out there.

There are pics of my freshly straightened hair flying around the forums and i can take a few detail schots next time i do it.

I don't think I have ever fully appreciated having 1a hair, until right now. That is just too much work. And heat.
    I made it to TBL!
Now to wait and see if this is truly my terminal...

Icky or not,if there was something that would make my hair look as good as hers did in the end of the video, while being non damaging and minimally texture altering,I'd totally go for it no matter how lengthy the process

Agreed, allmost 14 minutes of heat. I'm way to lazy to do anything like that And if a product takes that much effort I'm definitely not trying it :P

It's really expensive too. My bank account cries at the prices.
