I live in claw clips at the moment. They are the only things which don't fall out. Although the front section falls out without snap clips.

KittyBird I love your blue and white floral like blue China.

I will try to get a photo of mine. I think I have 8-10 clips.

I've always had claw clips around the house. I use one in the shower on wash days to hold my conditioner soaked hair up while I go about my showerly duties. I've grown away from using them to hold up buns, but when I did I really liked the octopus claw clips, but they always broke in my hair after a month or two. We have some of the pretty colorful ones at the store I work at...maybe I'll buy a pack.

I have two French ones I bought in Paris as the expense seemed more reasonable on holiday. They're very tough mechanisms and I do use them a lot in summer as I get fed up with the braided bun with fork that's most reliable at the moment. So considering I've had them more than ten years they've been good value. We are having a heatwave in England and to me a claw clip to get the hair off my neck is a great thing.

These weren't included in the group picture because they arrived today, and I didn't feel like taking them out of the packet just yet.

Omg, they are all so pretty! Reminds me of a field of butterflies! LOL I wish I could find more that work with my hair, but seems they never want to hold. Guess I could use 2 or 3 though I'm sure that would do the trick!

There's also a LOT of the jewelled clips to be found on ebay, for very little. I really need to restock on clips, so if someone has a secret fantastic seller...?

Edit: LARKY! THAT SITE... I DIE! Ooooooh what gorgeousness!!!! Those plastic clips.... I foresee me being broke in the near future.
Ross Stores have beautiful claw clips! I have scored big time there! Good luck!

I wear little clips to pull my bangs back since I dislike headbands and large ones to hold up the length, usually while drying. I also sleep in these, 2 on the top of my head. I used to use one larger one, but it started needing it's own pillow, so got 2 slightly smaller ones and they share nicely with my head.

I love them, but I'm afraid to click on the links for fear that I will find yet another toy to obsess on collecting

Ah, so I'm not the only one to do that
While beak clips are my true go-to & HG hairtoys (nothing else holds my hair so well!), I do like claw clips too (and not only in the shower), and have had some very pretty ones with intricate decorations. But as OP said, the con is they do break quite easily...

I have at least three of them (cheap ones) hanging in the shower at all times (...the record was eight). Yay, hairclipconditionsoakin sisters!!
Also, there's one hanging from the steampipethingy of my coffee machine (may It live forever, great is It's glory), one on one of the kitchen drawer handles, three in my jewelerry box (why?) one next to my clothing dresser, one in the bedroom, one in the box with the lady things in the toilet (emergency backup, in case I cant find another, because it never gets used), probably around three on my bicycle frame and one in the garden. Probably one in the fruit bowl as well and a few behind the couch.

All plain disposable ones, I threw the nice ones out after my last Big Cut years ago and still need to repurchase...
