Ya know GG, as a 58!!!! year old... I am going to say that if you feel like blinging, then BLING away! I am!! We are girls, afterall!

My hair toys are my only 'bling factor'; I dress modestly/casually and don't wear jewelry....except for my matching earrings and wedding/engagement ring.

I felt at 63 when I started, that I had to ROCK IT (my long silver) cuz everyone else my age here (and younger)'curls up and dyes'

Sometimes I can 'feel' eyes burning through my updos when at Church; maybe it's 'all in my head' .....I really don't care

I am having fun, and all these unique hair toys have motivated me to grow longer and express MY style 'creatively'

The color gem claws came today but I still have 1 more color set coming, so next week I will re-do my claw pics when they are all in; hopefully the pics will come out better lol

Yay!!! How fun to "school" those ol' biddies at church! Groove on GG!! I know how you feel. When I see the "curled up and dyed"- bouffant types I just think how old they look. If I notice them looking at me, I smile back, knowing they probably are criticizing me in their minds thinking they are better than I am and how dare I not "curl up and dye"...LOL... I just want to them upside their huge buffante hairstyle and

Are your clips all metal GG? I wish I would find all metal minis (preferably without bling for me).

I like mini claws and super-mini claws the most, they are the first thing with which I was able to put my hair up when it was still very short, and I always recommend them to other shorties.

I'm not a big fan on how they look and the material all of them being sold here are made of (=plastic), but they are easy to use, comfy and handy. I like to hide my minis under the bun/twist, but plain silver metallic ones would be lovely! They'd probably wouldn't have their teeth broken that easily either!

I have one big claw too, if looks like spagetti serving spoon (not sure if it would count as claw clip now that I think of it). I use it in the shower. It must be 8 years old and still looks neat!

Yes they are metal; The silver clips have little rhinestones on them...it just adds to the shine.

Most of her clips are blingy, but I did a search on Amazon for metal jaw clips and those are plain clips....check it out

I need a nice bling claw clip, its BFs brothers wedding soon and I can't decide if I want hair up or down, but having a shiny claw clip in my bag would make going between the 2 both easy and pretty!

I was just at Ulta yesterday and they have a few aisles of really pretty hairtoys, at least our local store does!! Fun! Fun! Fun!
