(RAOK) Random Act of Kindness - Toys for Members with Very Modest Collections

When first starting out, please read the information below.

JOINING THE RAOK (Random Act Of Kindness) THREAD:

This offer is open to any interested new to the forum members (those who have been on the forum for less than 1 year), who also have posted enough to be able to PM me (usually 25 posts). Please do not post you wishing to be added to the RAOK list on the thread since I don't check in often enough to see it. You will be responsible for upfront shipping costs. For most items this will be $9.45 for USPS Priority Shipping. This offer is for US shipping only. Unfortunately, I can no longer commit to mailing internationally.

You may choose ONE item from each group of items in 3 the different categories; a) hair sticks, b) hair forks, and c) other items (ranging from flexi’s, headbands, leather items, etc.). The goal is to end up with a maximum of 3 items consisting of one item from each of the available categories. Once the items from the pictures are depleted, I will post new ones to make inventory available for new members signing up.

Once your package has been sent out, you will receive a tracking number. Since these items are available due to the generosity of members here on the forum, please post pictures of them in your hair once you receive them. Donors love to see their beloved items go to good use around here. Other than that, I will be going through the list in the order that the names are received.

This is not meant to be a thread, really. I just listed the one toy that is up right now because originally it was 2 together, but one person got gifted one of them, leaving the other up for grabs. This is just mean to be a list people can reference if they have a toy they want to give away to another person that is starting out their collection.

Oh, I was not criticizing your list, I think it's a great idea. Just the other thread is a little (no a lot) confusing. And I was wondering if maybe separate threads for each item wasn't the way to go.

I tried to quote and gave up after 15 minutes of waiting and it just proved my point...

This forum is so laggy/unstable that having a new thread for every item being offered when we cannot delete them or edit the title would make it worse. The thread may get a bit confusing at times but someone steps in and gets it sorted/explained and the putting at the bottom of posts what is up next is helping. Once people get the hang of it it goes smoother, I've seen this same thing on other forums and after a week or so it goes well.

The list will actually help that thread keep moving, I believe. Because someone can claim a toy from the PIForward thread in the name of one of the people on this list, offer up their own toy, and keep it rolling along!
