I would also like to request my removal from the RAOK list. Reluctantly, of course, but I feel my collection is much less modest now. Thank you ladies for the lovely gifts which have really allowed me to learn what works well with my hair etc. I'll definitely be popping into see what lovely other people get and I'm even hoping to have a sort through and have a couple of donations to make in the near future.

Thank you so much, that means a lot to me I almost lost the stone today though, eeek! I was wearing it out and reached back to tug adjust my bun a little, just as the stone fell off, so I felt it brush my fingers as it fell before it landed on the ground. I never would have noticed if it had happened at any other time! So now I gotta find my super glue to make sure it never happens again.

I was wearing it out and reached back to tug adjust my bun a little, just as the stone fell off, so I felt it brush my fingers as it fell before it landed on the ground. I never would have noticed if it had happened at any other time! So now I gotta find my super glue to make sure it never happens again.

Sometimes when stones in natural material forks go through radical weather/humidity changes, the stones fall off. This has happened to me with 2 GTS tusks. I use a pre-mixed epoxy adhesive also to restore it. Once the piece acclimates to the new location's climate, it's all good. I'm glad you were literally able to catch it before it was lost forever.

That might be it indeed Dweam, it was really cold today! And I really cannot believe my luck that it was that exact second it fell off. The fork and the stone are now securely tucked away in a box waiting to be fixed.

Oh wow...so that's why

I lost a smokey quartz in an antler stick and figured it was the base size or glue...so I just glitter polished it and left it empty

Those hair sticks are absolutely beautiful MsPharaohMoan! I wish I could get a single stick to work for me, but my hair is super slippery and one stick slides right out. That turtle is so stinking cute though! Whoever claims one (or more) of these is going to be super lucky!

Oh gosh, that little turtle is really making me want to go grabby-hands, cute as it is, and made out of my favorite stone... But I can't imagine the stick would be long enough to not hide the poor turtle, which would be a waste. I'm sure someone else more suitable is going to love it, though!
