Thank you! I'm not fond of the pinkish-purple beads the cat originally had, but I really love cats so a mash up was necessary It's super wearable for me now!

So, I finally decided what I wanted to do with the random mini I got a while ago. I swapped the centerpiece out of the mini Skull and put it on my Black Band, which I've been kinda glaring at for a bit now. It took me a couple tries to get it done, I put it on upside down/backwards twice.... and the back is kinda scratched up. But I am pleased with the end results!

First, here's my Solana in M. Do you see something different from the released one? Yep, I darkened it with paint for metal in black and copper. Now I really love it!!!

I also darkened my fleur de lis flexi in S to age it:

I also modded a couple of flexis I already had: Compass Rose in mega/XXL and Dragon in XL. I'm a bit sad about the dragon as I did it in a wrong size: I love who it turned, BUT I made it too little for bunning (I tried, but I really need it larger) and looks a bit too big for half ups... I don't want to unmade it, so if I can't make it work in some weeks I'll try to find him another home

I love them! I did a search to see if anyone had painted a flexi bc I want to do the same. They turned out so pretty!

anyone think I could paint the metal on my flexi with my at home gel polish then set it under the uv light?

I feel like I need to try it - I have black nail polish that would look so cute on this heart one I have.

so I tried it - painted my flexi with gel nail polish. I really like it - then I had the bright idea to use my matte top coat - yup - fail. so I took off all the polish - the best I could - I couldn't get it out of some of the beads and you'll notice they are darker. Then I repainted with a very light coating of just black polish. I really like how it turned out.

This is the finished product (just 1 light coat of black):

This is what it started out as:

This is the fail I had to scrape and wipe off - what a pain that was:

and this is with a couple thin coats of the black (before I jacked it with the matte top coat and had to redo it completely)

Thanks! I'm in love with it too I was just honestly saying to myself the other day they might not ever make one because they have morning Joy. And have been really dying for this one so she made my flexi wish come true

I really like your modification though it's so pretty

Nice mods everyone! I can't get the thought out of my head that nail varnish might flake off, but really if that were to happen it would be easy enough to redo. I would be interested to hear how they hold up though.

A month after starting my clip, I finally glued on the cabochon; the instructions said it takes 72hrs to fully cure and to hold the 2 posts together while it does. I thought of a few possible ways that might work, and ended up doing something completely different I don't know if a wavy hairstick was entirely necessary but I thought it would stay better than a straight one.

It should be fully cured by Sunday evening, so a lesson in patience for sure!
Length goal well and truly met, now just seeing how it grows ...
Picky scalp but easygoing hair, thank goodness
