Who takes your hair length photos?

as evidenced by my awkward looking shots i take them myself. Length shots involve standing on a milk crate so the ends can be seen in the bathroom mirror. This site has me seriously considering buying a camera with a timer and a tripod!

I'm the photographer in the family so I take all my hair photos...I'll occasionally beg my mom to take a hair photo but I feel silly asking, so it's a rare occasion. I have a tripod that I leave open so length shots are always from the same height. If your camera will support a shutter release, I highly recommend it, they're so much easier than trying to get a sharp shot with the timer.

I do it myself, its more accurate this way because I set the camera with a timer in the same spot and my position is always the same also I like people staying out of my buissnes : ) )

Even though Im sure they´d just roll their eyes and do it cause they know Im a hair nerd already, Id feel a little (ok, very...) silly asking someone else to do it for me. Therefore I use a shelf + a camera with a timer.

Guh. I take them myself. My only camera is my phone, so most of my photos aren't LHC-style pics.

I use my camera's self timer to take length shots. On occasion, I might have my mom or someone else take them. I also tend to wear my hair down for every planned photo, haha.

I take them myself using my camera's timer mode, and for some reason I insist on doing it without a mirror... so usually take about two dozen photos before finding one taken at just the right angle and focus.
