    Default Fragrance Free

Iím looking for some fragrance free conditioner suggestions. I get almost severe migraines from heavily scented conditioners. The older I get the more scents bother me. Prior to my bleach damage last November I didnt really use conditioner, now I have to. My Biolage hydrasource balm has a very light scent that doesnt seem to bother me. I just bought a conditioner from CVS called Free And Clear. There have to be other very lightly scented or unscented conditioners out there?

Do you have a preference as far as cones or other ingredients?

Honestly I prefer silicone free but I do use both silicones and silicone free. I have to due to the bleach damage which started at rhe root which was pretty scary

I haven’t used them, but I’ve seen that some Jessicurl products have a fragrance free option.

Earth Science and Desert Essence both make fragrance free conditioners.

I’ll look into those brands. Most of the Dove conditioners dont initiate a migraine and also the head and shoulder condiitioners. Anything by Garnier sets it off real bad and so do the Pantene conditioners . I’m not sure about herbal essence or ogx.

If you are in the states, Whole Foods has their own 365 brand, one of the conditioners is unscented (last I checked, the others are mint, citrus and lavender, I believe). Herbal Essences Smooth Collection (the pink one with rosehips) has an apple with a hint of citrus scent (maybe with a hint of rosehip, but it doesn’t smell like strong rose or anything), maybe that one wouldn’t be too bad?

Renia has already given you several good suggestions - I was going to mention that Jason also has an unscented conditioner. And drugstore brands that are geared towards people with eczema or psoriasis tend to be fragrance free (though also potentially medicated).

Here’s an idea though: you can often buy conditioner bases that are unscented in bulk, like this for example. This might be a pretty economical way to go.

Years ago I bought Cure Care Conditioner from Sally Beauty Supply which "contains no fragrance or color." It's cheap too and I liked it quite well.

This is a leave-in conditioner, not a rinse out one, but Maple Holistics has this fragrance-free leave-in that I like:

I wonder if you could use it as a rinse out one, the ingredients seem similar? I'm no expert with regards to that though.
