I've been wanting to try out some of the aluminum ones, as I like the colors they come in and I think they look really cool. I'm loving the action shots!
I bought some wooden conical hairsticks from Jim at Over the Hawaiian Moon a few months ago. I got the tri colored set. He included a free hairstick with the set. When the first set was lost in the mail, I sent him a message, and he mailed another one out right away (which I got in only 3 days) at no extra charge. When the lost set came over a month later, I asked if he wanted them back, and he told me to keep them (yay extra hair sticks!). So customer service and communication is great.
The quality of the sticks in lovely. The wood grain and sheen are nice, and the sticks are very durable. I especially like the conical cut/twist. I typically need 2 hairsticks to hold my slick, fine hair, but I only need to use one of these. Taking it out is easy too... I just twist while pulling gently... just like unscrewing a screw. I'm very happy with my purchases from him. I'm going to try the aluminum ones soon. I think they'd work well at the pool this summer, rather than risking ruining my wooden ones.

I have one of the silver aluminum ones, I like them.
I intend to be thought elegant, glamorous and extremely vulgar, because nothing is so glamorous as vulgarity, and there is nothing so vulgar as elegance.
Ahh, yes! Super cool! Thanks for sharing.![]()

I ordered a teak conical pair ... I can't wait to see them. The shape looks really interesting.
They look great schnibbles! I've eyeballed the teak a few times, had them in my cart, and then backed out. But I think you might have pushed me over the edge. Very pretty and the light wood and pretty graining look great in your hair.

Thank You Scarlet! I would recommend the teak, they are very pretty in person. Jim also sent a free squiggly stick (or I guess he calls them spirals) in teak, which was really nice of him.
