Had to wash my hair a day early for a special event, so I just used diluted conditioner. Couldn't bring myself to strip all the oil off my hair when it's just starting to calm down whilst stretching washes.
Got my new herbs yesterday so I made my shampoo tea (1/2 Tbs each of hibiscus flowers and ground soapwort) and my conditioner tea (1/2 Tbs of fenugreek seeds). Both were steeped in pint glasses, so roughly 2 cups of boiling water. Now my hair is air drying. I haven't combed it yet, waiting for it to dry more. Dry fringe looks and feels great! The shampoo tea had a lot more suds with the addition of the hibiscus and I wanted to try the fenugreek on its own to see what it did to my hair.
Went through my usual wash process last night. I need to find a way to make it faster... it takes forever.
It's drying in 8 braids.
Today I'm just at home, working on the computer, so I'm giving my hair an off-day, finally giving it some rest and letting it be super greasy until it's time for my bath tonight.
playing with it, its going though a weird curly sticky outy phase currently. I feel ugly as hell. must push through it, awkward stage is gonna last a loooong time, doesn't really end until my hair hits shoulder length

WCC and ROO for 3 washes straight within the past week. I might have underestimated how well this method works, especially in the winter. Hair is starting to feel softer, and softer again
willing it to grow faster

I feel for ya Bat, the awkward phase was tough for me too. It wasn’t until I hit SL that I really stopped obsessing over my hair growth and was able to just let it do it’s thing. Like you said you just have to hang in there.
Edit: forgot to add my own “what are you doing”…I’m bored and experimenting with different hair styles, but I think my hair is too clean and/or short for some of them :/
