A quick S&D session. Didn’t find much.

I trimmed and measured today and did a little S&D, which I haven't been doing much lately. Not too bad!

Opted out of the friends program, nothing personal
Having my weekly wash, prepoo oil at the moment.
A lot of you are doing S&D. I am actually not doing that at all anymore and my last trim was beginning of june. I got a bit scared about thinning my hemline or making it more uneven by being too diligent about snipping of lone split ends. But I'm not sure I have made the best choice....
Yesterday I had my weekly full wash. Pre-poo heavy oiling, two rounds of shampoo on my scalp, as always. And a double conditioner for my lenght. I bought a new Urtekram conditioner. Not loving the smell, but I am not sensitive to smell in the way that it will make me quit a product for that reason alone. Perhaps if it was a super heavy perfume scent, but this is more like... spices. Which, in my humble opinion, I prefer in my food ;-)
Anyway, curious to see if my hair feels soft once brushing it! The conditioner had lots of aloe vera in it.
Sitting with henna on my roots.

I've just shampooed and deep conditioned my hair using Dr. Miracles Tingling Conditioning Shampoo, and then I applied the Stabilizer Plus Pre-Conditioning Treatment. Then, I deep conditioned using Queen Helene's Cholesterol Hair Conditioning Cream. As my leave-ins I sprayed the Mane N Tail Detangling Spray and the Isoplus Wrap Lotion. I am now sitting here letting it air dry up to 2-3 hours. Lastly, I'm going to blow dry it for only 5 minutes.

I sort of successfully did a blow out on my own hair. Did the perimeter first but I still struggled with using a round brush and not ending up tugging on my hair for the rest of it, even with being really careful and trying to use sections. But still! My hair feels fairly silky smooth and straight (which is not its usual state).
Clarifying shampoo and conditioned using the Garnier conditioner with honey which I love!
I washed last night, and put it in a silk scrunchie without detangling or brushing to sleep. Removing the scrunchie and brushing gently with my wooden bristle brush and decide how to wear for the rest of the day’s adventure. May decide to keep it loose since the day will be in a car/indoors and mostly relaxing with family![]()
