How Often Do We Oil Our Beautiful Hair

I am back in the habit of using a mix of oils overall before I shampoo and oiling the ends when they seem dry.

I use a blend I make up myself. Coconut oil with a couple drops of lavender and sometimes tea tree oils. I rub it between my hands to melt it then apply from ears down. Usually application while hair is still damp after I shampoo & condition so about 2-3 times per week. Sometimes if I have a few days off work and not planning to go anywhere I will do a heavy application and then braid in pigtails for a few days.

I usually add a little to my ends daily. My go to lately is argan oil.

I only oil the ends when they seem to be frizzy or if I have noticed them getting more tangled. I really should oil more often but I've had a hard time getting in the habit. I tend to use the little oil samples I get in my Sephora box, so its usually a blend with argan oil.

I do a heavy oiling 3 times a week, overnight before I shampoo in the morning. I usually use olive oil with some lavender EO and it has made such a big difference!

I oil it properly three times a week and smooth a little oil in every day. I use olive oil and this sesame based blend I pick up at the local Indian market.
