Default Who was/is your long hair inspiration?

Who ispired you to grow your hair long? Was it a random person? Someone "famous"? A Family Member? Was it an event or, simply, just a wish? Were you grown up or still little? Let us know

For me, my earliest memories were of my mom with her long hair. I thought everyone had long hair like her and when she chopped it off I thought she was a total stranger... Then I didnt think a bit about it until I was older and stumbled upon a lady with floor length blond hair brushing her hair in the ladies room. Between her and Doctor Quinn I think I was hooked...But I still never even considered it an option for me until I heard stories of my Great Grandmother and her knee lenth Hair. She was a pioneer who boated down the mississippi with her husband and only child and homesteaded our farm, all with knee length tress's. And she never cut it either...

So! Thats me! Now lets hear from you!

Sailormoon . Seriously, even to this day I'm waiting for the new anime. It was closely followed by Athena from saint seiya. And then I was introduced to Metal...

My godmother. According to my mother, I saw her with her knee-length hair down one time when I was four and decided I was never going to cut mine. My mother's was super long as well, but I guess my godmother must've left a stronger impression on me. Maybe it was just easier for me to connect with another straight-hair at that age. I don't know. By the time I was in my teens I didn't even remember the event. I just knew I'd always had my hair about WL. I was nineteen before I ever had it any shorter.

I used to watch a lot of bollywood movies when I was little and I loved how the actresses' beautiful hair blew in the wind as they executed a perfectly choreographed dance every ten minutes. Even though I used to love getting haircuts, I still thought that long hair was the best.

Recently I saw these mannequins in H&M and I loved their long hair wigs lol, and that's when I realized I wanted mine to be classic length like theirs.

When I was a kid, my greatest role model was my care taker's daughter. She was older than me, she was ballerina and had long hair (she also painted all my toe nails with different colours). So of course I had a long hair and started ballet, too. Today Andrej Pejic and several other androgynous models are my long hair inspirations.
